“In the new album, their tenth, fans will recognize the poetry of Flea Kiedis or treble, but… already from the first dive, dropped on the head headphones, and I feel that this collective work and engaging. Frusciante’s guitar is not there anymore. I do a region. Also because of his heir Josh Klinghoffer nails work well. Track by track, here are my impressions on the first impact.

Monarchy Of Roses
Dark, rock, funk and pop. An authentic “rickrubinata” in all its brilliance. Besides, he and producer of the mega RATM, Slipknot, Mars Volta, Metallica, AC / DC, Aerosmith, SOAD, Mick Jagger and even Adele is a brand you can trust.

Factory Of Faith
Old ways. Start with mega bass licks Flea + battery by Chad & Josh. Rhythm, energy, spoken word. The references to “sporting feats” I suggest the recovery of Anthony, the 12 steps for those suffering from addictions: “All my life I was / Swinging for the fence / I was looking for the triple / Never playing good defense / We Were gunnin ‘for the glitter / Every hot and heavy hitter.

Brendan’s Death Song
Nice ballad. Ode to Brendan Mullen, one of the first to believe in their talent making him open for Bad Brains, Club Lingerie, one of the more than 80 years of LA living. Died in 2009, and also the author of their first picture book, The Red Hot Chili Peppers “An Oral History Visual. Love song, enlightened about their history, spoken word California-style guitar of Anthony and Josh go with a musical medley of memories of the band. “If I die before I get it done / Take my words and turn them / Into signs that will survive.

Ethiopia
It reflects the new spirituality of the band. Instead of drugs and alcohol, meditation, and injections of ozone, not heroin. Love for children and family. Respect and hope. The Red Hot older (good)

Annie Wants A Baby
Kiedis mirror retraces some of the stages of his life: by Cosma Shiva, the daughter of Nina Hagen, as was done outside the band because, stoned, he would disappear for weeks (for a dose has sold a guitar autographed by the Stones!) “She Had a gold mine / But then she wasted away”.

Look Around
“Please don’t look right through me / Hurts my heart / When you do that to me / Street life / Out of my window / City made breeze”.

The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie
First single, another spoken word for Anthony, pop jazz + percussion, funky rock. A spin from power pop to funk style of the classic RHCP CALI. “Tick tock I want to Rock you like the 80′s / Tug boat Sheila / memorabilia into Is / Who said three is a crowd / We better get it on the go.”

Did I Let You Know
“When We envision / Lack Of Division / The planet does / Another revolution”. Verses that describe the social commitment that has always characterized the RHCP, Flea and the beginning of Silverlake Conservatory of Music for kids who want to learn to play but do not have the means. Trumpet solos and an air burst of a military march.

Goodbye Hooray
“Curb Your tongue oh scallywag / Because you’ve got no flag to wave / Save your breath for the black and white / Every dog will have his day”. Despicable. Black and white = the police. No flags have to wave= touched rock bottom. Every dog will have His day = The bastards pay sooner or later.

Police Station.
One of the best. Slow, emotional, mirrors of a past life lived. Warning: for each song, listened to every artist, everyone can identify with more or less because of his personal experiences. Police said the United States California who lived there at the turn of 80/90 years: a mix of racism, Crisp & Bloods, colors of Dennis Hopper and Sean Penn, the degradation of Skid Row, the first hip-hop and rap later, the blacks and Mexicans. What was to become, and that..

Dance, Dance, Dance
“Let’s say hello / It’s safe to go / Dance, dance, dance, dance / All night long and all night long”. Worthy end. There is no other American band that knows how to feel the pulse of LA, our city of fucking angels, like The Red Hot Chili Peppers.”

RHCP are fucking back.

Monarchy of Roses: Dark, rock, funk e pop.

Factory of Faith: Vecchia maniera. I riferimenti a “gesta sportive” mi fanno pensare al recupero di Anthony, i 12 passi per chi soffre di dipendenze: “All my life i was / Swinging for the fence / I was looking for the tiple / Never playing good defense / We were gunnin’ for the glitter / Every hot and heavy hitter”.

Brendan’s Death Song: Nice ballad. If i die before I get it done / Take my words and turn them / Into signs that will survive”.

Rispetto e speranza. I Red Hot invecchiano (bene).

“She bad a dolg mine / But theme she wasted away”-

“Please don’t look right through me / Hurts my heart / When you do that to me / Street life / Out my window / City made breeze”.

The Adventures of Raindance Maggie: Primo singolo, altra spoken word per Anthony, pop e jazz + percussion, funky e rock. Uno spin power pop rispetto al funky KALI style dei classici RHCP: “Tic toc I wants rock you like the ‘80’s / Tag boat Sheila / Is into memorabilia / Who said there is a crowd / We better get it on the go”.

Did i Let You Know: “When we envision / Look of division / The planet does / Another Revolution”.

Goodbay Hooray: “Curb your toungue oh wallywag / Because you’we got no flag to wave / Save your breath for the black and white / Every dog Will have his day”. Cattivissimi . Black and White= la polizia. No flag to wave= hai toccata il fondo. Every dog will have his day= i batardi prima o poi la pagano.

Happiness Love Company: “Start jumping ‘ cause / We’ve got something to say / Young lovers keep it pumping / In the streets of L.A.”.

Police Station: Once of the best.

Consigliatissima. Io l’ho ballata come un matto!

Meet Me at The Corner: Altra ballata, una delle “signature” RHCP. Struggente, intensa, vivida.

Dance, Dance, Dance: “Let’s say hello / It’s safe to go / Dance, dance, dance, dance / All night long and all night long”. Degno epilogo. Non esiste altra band Americana che sappia sentite il polso di L.A., our city of fucking Angels, come I RHCP.
