(Click HERE for full details) Fans were especially eager to see the footage because it was the first time we were able to see and hear a high quality version of the much admired, but obscure RHCP song, "Mini Epic" (also known as "Kill For Your Country").

Thanks to Qauiable, we were able to see the HQ version of Mini Epic just a few hours after the broadcast finished! The full concert in various formats will be online within the next few hours!

Australian Red Hot Chili Peppers Tour Confirmed!

In a recent interview with Australian Radio Station Triple M 105.1 FM, Chad Smith revealed to Radio Host Ugly Phil that the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album will now be out next year - 2011! (Contrary to the October/Winter period of 2010, which was originally estimated as the release date by Chad Smith during an interview with MusicRadar back in May.) Chad also confirmed that they'll definitely be touring in Australia!

Lakers fans Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Josh Klinghoffer & Chad Smith celebrated the Los Angeles Lakers win over the Boston Celtics at the NBA Finals on June 17th! Anthony & Flea also shared their thoughts on the game at the Lakers post game press room conference! A number of pictures of Anthony Kiedis, Flea & Josh Klinghoffer were taken during the game and were published online, a video of Chad Smith arriving at the game was also released.

Anthony Kiedis reports from the LA Lakers post game press room:
"By half time I had a feeling we were going to turn it around...flea, josh and I ended up in the press conference room after the game and Fisher came to the middle of the crowded room after his Q n A to hug the 3 of us. I'm still hung over from the game/elation celebration."

Flea reports from the LA Lakers post game press room:
"Honestly, he won the game for us tonight," said the one and only Flea, resident spokesman for the Laker Nation and the bassist for the band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, who watched Artest's press conference from eight rows back with lead singer Anthony Kiedis. "I'm so happy for him. Hollywood, Schmollywood. He's a dynamic, exciting dude and I love him.""

Red Hot Chili Peppers Bassist Flea Michael Balzary was recently voted as BBC 2's BEST Bass Guitarist!

As previously posted HERE, Flea was listed on BBC2's 'I'm in a Rock Band' competition to try and find the perfect DNA for a rock band. Fans were given the chance to vote for their favourite bassists online and Flea was voted at number 1!

The news was revealed Live on the show 'I'm in a Rock Band Live' which aired on BBC 2 - June 5th in the UK at 10pm.
