i cried so much...
they played PEA before californication...
Adventures of raindance maggie had a brazilian playing along with them
Did I Let You Know had a black guy playing trumpet.
Chad drum solo had the guy that played raindance with him. flea joined later. (this jam had a lot of samba)
before Dance Dance Dance, josh and another guy playing bongos joined chad, flea and the dude from raindance to jam, josh played a banjo before the song itself started.
there was a final jam after give it away.
they jammed a lto between songs.
josh had problems with the guitar several times (not his fault)
josh was nervous? he aborted under the bridge, scar tissue and another song i cant recall now...
ill talk more tomorrow, im so tired...
but it was the best day of my life, im going to rock in rio for sure
ive recored the whole show in audio, but its not really good... _________________

setlist
the show was pretty good, they rocked as usual, the setlist, hm… imo comparing to other setlists we've seen from this south american tour it wasn't the best one, but it was pretty good. pea and don't forget me showed up around again.
no sir psycho, blood sugar, if you have to ask, soul to squeeze. songs that they played along the tour.
josh - guitar problems
of course the negative point was due to the problems that josh had with his guitar setup during pretty much the whole concert - i think it started around the 4th song(scar tissue) but couldn't be noticed that much in the beginning, but throughout the rest of the show it started annoying him a lot and he clearly got mad/sad/nervous. lot's of songs were ruined cause of that. not in a bad way i mean.
the last chorus of by the way was pretty much without any guitar. he started playing the intro of under the bridge, but he couldn't cause of the guitar failing every second note he was playing, he was clearly nervous and told anthony to start singing the verse and he was about to start playing the first verse but anthony said to give another try and start from the intro again. calming him down.
pea
after josh had had a few problems during higher ground as well, flea played the first line of pea right after it (clearly helping out josh cause rat, i think, was gonna try to fix it once again) but after this first line, he stopped and said: i haven't played this for ten years. but the crowd started shouting out "pea" and he did it, in a funny way, with the second part acapella. it wasn't expected to be played.
well, the show was awesome, even with the tech problems, i think most of the crowd enjoyed it and had fun, at least i did, and im looking forward to see them playing this next show in rio and a few shows in the european leg.

But still... :D
Has Josh ever actually said one word to the audience? Come to think of it has Chad?
