Red Hot Chili Peppers @ Costa Rica - September, 12

So, they just played in Costa Rica!

http://www.nacion.com/2011-09-13/Entretenimiento/red-hot-chili-peppers-hizo-cantar-a-gritos-al-estadio-nacional.aspx

According to the link below, AK started by saying "buenas noches” and sure, the crowd went nuts Happy

The crowd was freakin' excited and loved when they played UTB.

Not pics or vids yet, just found it below:

I was there last night, really awesome show. I was prepared for a setlist filled with I'm With You but as it turns out it was very diverse! Tell Me Baby really surprised me as they haven't been playing it and By The Way and Higher Ground were some of the highlights.

The best was saved for last, with Sir Psycho Sexy and They're Red Hot, I went nuts!

I don't like how UTB is so early in the setlist.

OMG...they forgot to play TAYT!!

Interesting that Look Around wasn't played and they are mixing things up a bit. Personally I would take this setlist if I got it when they come to DC.

And is this the first show they didn't play Ethiopia other than Hong Kong?

i should say that they are still developing their setlist so it will change.
scar tissue should comeback and blood sugar must be played because they played it at the rooftop concert

My preference would be:

By the Way
Monarchy of Roses
Charlie
Ethiopia
Otherside
Universally Speaking
The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie (not a preference but it's a single, so..)
Scar Tissue
Factory of Faith
Me and My Friends + rarity tease
Soul To Squeeze
Meet Me at the Corner
Higher Ground
Californication
Dani California

Drum Solo
Aeroplane (still hoping)
She's Only 18
Sir Psycho Sexy
Give it Away

The show last night was pretty amazing people. I took some video but it was pretty impossible to stay focused with everyone around me dancing and jumping. But I'll try and see if I can post something later.

Dani California was the main single from the last album and they're not playing it anymore. So I think they won't stop playing Maggie until next tour. Tounge

Yeah Tell Me Baby rocked. Unfortunately I couldn't record it (was too busy being pushed around by everybody's jumping) but I'm sure it'll pop up on youtube.

These are some photos (not taken by me) of the concert. Anthony's pics make me laugh.

Under the Bridge early in the set list reminds me of when I saw the Eagles. They played Hotel California as the third song. I'm glad they're changing it up. They probably get tired of playing it as an encore and just want to get it over with. LOL

Yeah it surprised me they played UTB so early, but I thought it was cool cause then the encore wouldn't be so predictable.

Here's Did I Let You Know, the one song I could record without that much movement. Though there's still plenty in some parts...

And some pics I took of the stage

and (I believe) Dave Rat.
