i'm so excited for the future of this god damn band. it's horrible for me and others to be a fan for soon 6 or 7 years without seeing a concert. and this long break after sa. I'm so excited to get this book and the album and I will DIE when they play shows in Switzerland. I will absolutely die. I'm serious I don't know how to handle this situation. they're all like guys I know, and when...
I don't mean guys I actually know, just I know a lot about them.
when they hit the damn stage I will seriously die _________________ http://roamingdaydreams.blogspot.com/

Wow I know man. Since I was 11 in the summer of '06 I have been listening to them and watching them devoutley. Been such a huge part of my life and I can't believe I will actually be witnessing there next album as it happens, and I can't get over the fact that I'll be listening to NEW music from them. And bloodyhell I'm gonna do all it takes to get on that tour. _________________ I’ve got a welt from the bible belt, dealing with the hand that I’ve been dealt.

No it was an actual question! I just thought that friends of the band and people like that could get a vip ticket. _________________ I’ve got a welt from the bible belt, dealing with the hand that I’ve been dealt.
no you can buy them for a lot of money. but they're not like backstage passes, you can just go closer to the stage I guess _________________ http://roamingdaydreams.blogspot.com/

Actually, having VIP ticket doesn't always make you closer to stage. When I was at Green Fest, there was a RACE to get close to the stage- the earlier you came, the bigger chances were for you to be in the front row (that's why I came a day earlier and I WAS in the very front row ).
The VIP tickets were much further from the stage. _________________

really? well I was at this Muse concert back in June and there the people with VIP tickets were closer to the stage, no matter how early you went there.
But well maybe festival VIP tickets are different from concert VIP tickets. on festivals you're just generally privileged aren't you? but as far as I know you can only win these. _________________ http://roamingdaydreams.blogspot.com/

Really, like I said, at Green Fest we had to RUN to be in the front row and to come as early as possible. _________________

the second they announce tour dates and start selling tickets
i am going to buy the most expensive awesome front row ticket they ever sold ever eve revere erver RBVOANRFK;A/LF;LWRGFNR
IM SO EXCITED
im also gonna stay after the show for like 6 hours and try to meet them
it worked with Broken Bells
You'd have to leave the gig pretty early to do that, and if you've paid over the odds for a 'front row ticket' its unlikely you'd make it in time as they get off stage and straight onto a tour bus and back to a hotel
Of course, you could always find out where they're staying or find out when load in is so you can catch them before the show getting off the tour bus, but be prepared to be mobbed by security.
(Usually load in is early in the morning, but the band wont arrive until around 12 if theres a soundcheck. If no soundcheck like its a residency, its about 8) _________________
how do you find out where they stay? just pick the best hotel around? _________________ http://roamingdaydreams.blogspot.com/

bands sometimes stay and hang around the venue for an hour or so after the concert. at least we know rhcp gets luxury treatment ( ) so they might not be in such a hurry to get out of there. i'm sure if you wait out by the buses that they'll be available to meet. _________________ -Lindsey

Sorry, but its a massive No. I've worked as a roadie and can tell you this wont happen. Not with a band like RHCP. maybe someone like Stereophonics or Arctic Monkeys, but i can assure you as soon as Anthony leaves the stage he's in a car going to a hotel, chad follows then John and Flea move off. The tour bus would be positioned around 12 yards or so from the rear entrance of the venue also, so you'd have to be quick and theyd have to be slow.
And to answer your previous question, the honest answer is i dont know. If its a residency like Hyde Park or Earls Court, it would probably be a 5 star hotel away from the venue, about 15 mins tops. _________________

ah that's a bit of a letdown. i still will take my chances anyway ;) i mean, you never know. last time when they were in my area Anthony had his family over after the concert and they had a sort of celebration (it was the day before his birthday). I heard people waited out in the cold for like two hours and the band said a few words and went away quick.
I guess I never really tried to meet a very popular band after a show...hm. At least the few of my other favorites are intermediately popular _________________ -Lindsey
