Red Hots - Rocking the Rooftops on Venice Beach
The show was held to celebrate Zuma Dogg’s federal victory against the city of Los Angeles on their ILLEGAL ban of ampilifiers on the beach!

Prior to the show, Flea tweeted… “We r filming a raindance Maggie film at 1901 ocean front walk in Venice at 630! Come on by! Yeeeeeeeahhh rooftop rock”.
Things were touch and go for a while as the LAPD and Fire Marshal considered stopping the show due to permit issues, but after a minor delay they got the ok and the peppers unleashed the funk, warming up with custard pie by Led Zeppelin and jamming the national anthem!
Then it was down to business and filming was underway as RHCP ad-libbed to the studio version of The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie.
