The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been nominated as potential inductees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2012! RHCP join the likes of Guns ‘N Roses, The Cure, Beastie Boys and The Faces.
Artists become eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first record. Criteria include the influence and significance of the artists’ contributions to the development and perpetuation of rock and roll.
Luminaries of the Music Industry will choose the inductees which will be announced in January and will then be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 14th in Cleveland, Ohio.
Fans can vote for the artists they’d like to see inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2012, but it’s only an indication of the artists(s) they’d like to see inducted and has no influence on the selection process. Click HERE to vote for The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
