The Red Hot Chili Peppers will release We Salute You, a six track EP featuring covers from some of the band’s musical influences. The EP will be released digitally on May 1st, 2012 to commemorate the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Five of the tracks have never been released digitally before. A Teenager in Love was originally released as a B-Side on the By The Way Single; Havana Affair was recorded for the 2003 Album, “We’re a Happy Family – A Tribute to Ramones”; Search and Destroy was originally released as a B-Side with the Give It Away Single; Everybody Knows This is Nowhere was recorded during the I’m With You Tour; I Get Around was recorded in 2005 during the Musicares Tribute to Brian Wilson; and Suffragette City was released as B-Side on the Aeroplane Single.
