The Red Hot Chili Peppers attend a press conference at The Park Hyatt Hotel prior to their Big Day Out appearance in Sydney, Australia on January 18th, 2013.
Contemplating their impending 45-Day Australian tour, Flea said, “Sometimes, it honestly does kind of trip me out. Not that it feels strange; it feels the same as ever in terms of the hope and potential that lies ahead and the burning desire to try and be better at what we do, but …in terms of the world of youth culture and music, we’re not very kids any more. But my enthusiasm hasn’t dampened one modicum of an iota.”
Anthony Kiedis described touring as “Feeling terrified with a hard-on”.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers speak to Journalists about their enthusiasm and love for music that has kept them going for so long.
