The Red Hot Chili Peppers played at the Boxen Arena in Herning, Denmark on October 14th, 2011. RHCP gave Danish fans a nice surprise by playing Hard To Concentrate live for the very first time! See video of the performance below.

- Anthony wore his red Peru T-Shirt again.
- Josh Klinghoffer once again proved his worth as the new guitarist,m playing Charlie without any problems.
- Flea said: “Hello Denmark. You wanna see my cock? Nah, I can’t do it…” and then he sang a bit from Right Said Fred’s “I’m Too Sexy”.
- They had some technical difficulties during the concert.
- “Look Around” was dedicated to a kid in the audience, after the song Anthony said: “The kid right there in the middle with the glasses. That was for you.”
- After that Flea played a flamenco-inspired bass solo that went in to “Throw Away Your Television”.
- …which made Anthony dance a lot, even though he had said something about a “broken foot” a couple of times during the evening.
- After that song he was adjusting some sort of supporting bandage on his foot, while Flea played “Pea”.
- Josh’s “George Harrison associated guitar riffs” during “Rain Dance Maggie” seemed a bit quiet the midst of all the other sounds.
- After another love declaration and another comment on how wonderful the Danish crowd is, they played a little bit of “Castles Made Of Sand” which floats in to “Under The Bridge”.
- Their great cover of Tom Petty’s “Mary Jane’s Last Dance”……oh wait, no, it’s their own song, “Dani California”, get’s the whole crowd going. (it actually says that, I didn’t make it up, haha)
- “Hard To Concentrate” was played for the first time live.
- During Chad’s drum solo, Josh joined in and Flea came in and goofed around and did a handstand and walked around on hands.
- “Do you guys know Neil Young? Neil Young is fucking cool…” said Flea, and then they played “Everybody know this is nowhere”
- Just as in Stockholm, Femi Kuti comes on stage and playes Saxofon on “Give it away”.
