Triple M’s Matty White caught up with ‘now that’s how you wear a Triple M t-shirt’ Flea backstage at the MTV European Music Awards in Belfast, Northern Ireland on November 6th, 2011 and asked him when the Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming to Australia?
“We are coming,” Flea said excitedly. “I looked at my tour schedule and it’s there next year. I don’t know the dates, I’m sorry, but we are coming. Without doubt, we will come… and rock… like untethered beasts.”
It’s been a few years since the Red Hot Chili Peppers have been to Australia. Absurdly so, considering Flea has a home here which he goes to quite frequently. But Flea says RHCP can’t wait to return as soon as possible! Listen to Flea telling Triple M the great news for yourself in the video below…
