Speaking to the New York Times on March 2nd, Anthony spoke about his injury, “There’s this weird bone that’s kind of in the ball of your foot, which I had broken in two on our “Stadium Arcadium” tour from jumping off of Chad’s drums night after night. It never healed. It finally reached a breaking point on tour in 2011 while I was sprinting after Flea in a heated game of toilet tag, and something snapped in my foot.” Read the full interview…
The Red Hot Chili Peppers 2012 Tour has been postponed to allow Anthony’s foot to heal. The rescheduled tour will begin on March 29th at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Florida.
